The Cougars faced a hard fought battle with "I Can't Feel My Face" last Tuesday, pulling out a 2-1 victory thanks to gutsy plays by Nathan Delawder and Josh Kesner. Kesner scored the Cougars' first run by sliding under a tag at home plate after several hits by the bottom part of the lineup. Delawder, whom the opposing team did not want to pitch to, finally got ahold of a pitch and drove a double into right-center field, driving in the go-ahead run. The Cougars held onto the slim lead and sent the "Face" team home with a whimper.
Next game is this Sunday.
